Rental Simplified Ltd. – Terms of Service


(Vehicle Rental Services – Self Drive)




1. Introduction


These Terms of Service govern the rental of vehicles from Rental Simplified Ltd. (“the Company”, “we”, “us”). By booking or using our services, you (“the Renter”) agree to be bound by these terms.




2. Eligibility Requirements


  • Minimum age: 25 years old
  • Must hold a valid driver’s licence
  • Must provide valid ID or passport
  • Only authorized drivers listed in the agreement may operate the vehicle




3. Rental Services


We provide self-drive vehicle rentals for personal use only. Vehicles:


  • Must remain within New Providence
  • Cannot be used for commercial purposes
  • Cannot be taken off-road, racing, or outside The Bahamas




4. Booking & Payment


  • All rentals must be paid in advance
  • VAT (10%) is applied at checkout where applicable
  • Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit / Debit Card
  • Bank Transfer (cleared funds required)
  • Sand Dollar
  • The Company operates on a cashless basis




5. Security Deposit


  • A $200 refundable hold is required before vehicle release
  • May be used to cover:

  • Damages
  • Late fees
  • Cleaning fees
  • Traffic fines
  • Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days




6. Rental Period & Returns


  • Rentals are valid only for the agreed time period
  • 1-hour grace period applies on return
  • Late returns incur:

  • $10/hour fee plus additional rental charges
  • No refunds for early returns
  • Extensions must be requested 24 hours in advance




7. Airport Services


  • Airport pickup/drop-off: $35 per trip
  • FREE for rentals of 5+ days




8. Fuel Policy


  • Vehicles are provided Full-to-Full
  • If returned with less fuel:

  • Fuel cost + 20% surcharge
  • $35 refueling fee




9. Use Restrictions


You may NOT:


  • Sub-rent or transfer the vehicle
  • Use for ride-sharing, delivery, or business
  • Allow unauthorized drivers
  • Leave New Providence
  • Drive negligently or illegally




10. GPS & Monitoring


Vehicles may include GPS tracking systems.

By renting, you consent to monitoring for:


  • Safety
  • Security
  • Operational purposes




11. Insurance & Liability


  • Only basic third-party insurance is included
  • Renter is fully liable for all damage unless additional coverage is purchased
  • Police report is mandatory for all incidents




12. Damage & Loss Responsibility


Renter is responsible for:


  • Repairs and replacement costs
  • Towing and administrative fees
  • Loss of use (downtime of vehicle)



Includes responsibility for:


  • Tires and rims
  • Windshield
  • Undercarriage
  • Interior damage




13. Special Liability Cases


Renter is fully responsible for:


  • Flood or saltwater damage
  • Lost keys or lockouts
  • Vehicle impound or seizure
  • Traffic fines and violations




14. Cleaning Policy


  • No smoking or vaping
  • Excess dirt or odor = $500 cleaning fee




15. Traffic Violations


All fines, tickets, and penalties are the responsibility of the renter.

Administrative processing fees may apply.




16. Indemnification


Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from:


  • Accidents or injuries
  • Legal claims
  • Violations or misuse of the vehicle




17. Termination


We reserve the right to terminate rental immediately for:


  • Breach of agreement
  • Non-payment
  • Misuse of vehicle


Failure to return the vehicle may result in:


  • Reporting as stolen
  • Legal recovery action




18. Charges & Authorization


By renting, you authorize us to charge your payment method for:


  • Outstanding balances
  • Damages
  • Fees and penalties




19. Chargeback Policy


  • No chargebacks for valid charges
  • Disputes must be submitted in writing first




20. Data & Communication


We may collect and use your data for:


  • Booking and billing
  • Customer service
  • Marketing communications


You may opt out at any time.




21. Governing Law


These terms are governed by the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.




22. Optional Damage Waiver (CDW)


  • Available at an additional daily fee
  • Limits liability to a fixed deductible
  • Does NOT cover:

  • Tires, rims, windshield
  • Negligence or illegal use
  • Unauthorized drivers


If declined, renter is fully liable.




23. Agreement Acknowledgement


By proceeding with a booking, the Renter confirms:


  • They have read and understood these Terms
  • They accept full responsibility under this agreement
