TERMS & CONDITIONS (WEBSITE VERSION)


Effective Date: March 26, 2026


Welcome to Rental Simplified Ltd. (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and rental services.


By accessing our website and/or renting a vehicle, you agree to be bound by these Terms.




1. ELIGIBILITY


To rent a vehicle, you must:


  • Be 25 years or older
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Provide valid identification
  • Meet any additional requirements set by the Company




2. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS


  • All rentals must be paid in advance, unless otherwise approved
  • The Company operates on a cashless basis
  • Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Bank Transfer
  • Sand Dollar
  • VAT (if applicable) will be added at checkout




3. SECURITY HOLD


A $200 security hold will be placed on your card prior to vehicle release.


This may be used to cover:


  • Damage
  • Late fees
  • Cleaning fees
  • Fuel charges
  • Traffic fines
  • Administrative costs


Unused amounts are released within 3 to 7 business days.




4. USE OF VEHICLES


Vehicles must be used for personal, lawful purposes only.


You may NOT:


  • Sub-rent or transfer the vehicle
  • Use for commercial purposes (ride-sharing, delivery, etc.)
  • Allow unauthorized drivers
  • Remove the vehicle from New Providence or The Bahamas
  • Use off-road or negligently




5. FUEL POLICY


Vehicles are provided on a Full-to-Full basis.


If returned with less fuel:


  • Fuel cost plus 20%
  • Plus $35 refueling fee




6. LATE RETURNS


  • 1-hour grace period applies
  • After that, $10 per hour


No refunds for early returns, no-shows, or unused rental time.




7. INSURANCE & LIABILITY


Vehicles may be insured by the Company, however:


  • Insurance protects the Company, not the renter
  • You remain fully responsible for damage or loss




8. OPTIONAL DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW)


We offer an optional Collision Damage Waiver:


  • Cost: $27.50 per day (inclusive of VAT)
  • Limits your liability to $500 maximum


The CDW:


  • Is not insurance
  • Is void if rental terms are breached
  • Does not cover tires, rims, windshield, undercarriage, or misuse




9. DAMAGE & LOSS


You are responsible for:


  • Repair costs
  • Loss of use
  • Towing and recovery
  • Administrative costs




10. PROHIBITED USE & BREACH


If you breach these Terms:


  • The rental may be terminated immediately
  • The vehicle may be recovered
  • All protections (including CDW) may be void


Failure to return a vehicle may be treated as unlawful possession.




11. ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS


In the event of an accident:


  • You must notify us immediately
  • A police report is mandatory
  • You must cooperate fully




12. CLEANING & SMOKING


  • No smoking or vaping
  • A $500 deep cleaning fee applies if violated




13. DATA, PRIVACY & TRACKING


Vehicles may be equipped with GPS and telematics systems.


By using our services, you consent to:


  • Data collection (location, usage, driving behavior)
  • Communication via phone, email, SMS, or WhatsApp
  • Marketing and promotional communication


You also agree to our Privacy Policy, available on our website.




14. THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS


We reserve the right to manage and settle any third-party claims arising from your use of the vehicle.




15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY


To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rental Simplified Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.




16. GOVERNING LAW


These Terms are governed by the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.




17. CHANGES TO TERMS


We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
